Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

Comfort Shoes Report Card currently has no affiliate links and no ads. When purchase links are added, clicking a link on our site and making a purchase may earn us an affiliate commission from the retailer — at no additional cost to you.

What this means in practice

Commissions, when they exist, fund our research: the hours spent digging through owner reports and forums, and the hosting that keeps this site fast. Without them, independent research wouldn't be sustainable.

What it doesn't change

Our recommendations are decided before we look at commission rates, and brands cannot pay for better placement. If a high-commission product doesn't hold up, it doesn't get recommended. We publish our methodology on every category page so you can check our work.

When outbound purchase links are added, they will be marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines know the nature of the link.
